WA attack from Italy into Austria?

<t> In my campaign game vs the normal AI it is February '43, and I have taken most of Italy and destroyed a large portion of the German units that were holding it. I am curious if it is feasible to move NE and work my way into Austria. The terrain and rail transport do not look very friendly for ...

RE: I have looked for this answer....

The temporary invasion ports do not have this limit. The tutorial is probably using one of them.

RE: Timing for moving units from Italy for 44 invasion of France

Thanks for the replies. I should have made it clear that I moved just about every unit down from the UK to Italy. The shipping is going to be busy undoing that all winter and spring.

Timing for moving units from Italy for 44 invasion of France

<t> I am playing the 43-45 campaign for the first time as WA vs AI, and am wondering about the timing of getting the 44 invasion of France ready. Pretty much every unit is in Italy, and I know I need to start moving them back to England, but I was hoping someone would be kind enough to give me some ...

RE: resting air groups?

<t> You have to be careful not to put your night fighters on Day/Night. <br/>
<br/>
Here's what I do now at the start of each Air Phase:<br/>
<br/>
1. Go to commander report air group tab.<br/>
<br/>
2. Clear filters and then set all groups to Day/Night.<br/>
<br/>
3. Filter Night Fighters ...

RE: Same AD from same air HQ multiple times a day?

Thanks. All the miles were getting used up in many separate sorties in the first directive.

Same AD from same air HQ multiple times a day?

<t> Can you run multiple instances of the same Air Directive on the same day from one air HQ?<br/>
<br/>
I have four Recon ADs from one HQ that has many planes, all set to go 7 days. The results screen show the first one running a bunch of times with two planes each run, but none of the other ADs ...

RE: Interdiction oddity

<t> Would it be possible for someone that has investigated this problem to describe it in more detail and in particular how to work around it. For example, does it mean you should never include Interdiction in Ground Attack targeting? Or just make sure that if you do, you don't include the enemy ...

RE: Decisively Beating the AI

This AAR is full of really good tips for new players, and so I want to get some search key words like strategy, guide, tips, into it, and also push it to the top of the AAR forum.

RE: Returning air groups to correct mission from rest

<t> Ah, I see what you mean. So basically what Harrybannana said, but if you set the NFs and everything else first, then you don't have to use the high morale filter to get them off rest. So this:<br/>
<br/>
1. Everything to DN<br/>
2. All NFs to NO<br/>
3. Filter to morale less then 60 (or ...

RE: Returning air groups to correct mission from rest

Thanks for the reply, but you are describing how to set air groups to rest, which as I note in my original post is easy. It is setting them back that I have trouble with. I don't want to set my Night Fighters in any groups or all of RAF BC to DN I don't think, do I?

Returning air groups to correct mission from rest

<t> Hi all,<br/>
<br/>
I am finding the process of switching air groups in and out of rest state very clumsy, even using the Commander's Report filters and mission settings commands.<br/>
<br/>
Going into rest is very easy and efficient using the filter for 0-60 morale, and then setting all ...
