First PBEM game to go the distance (January 1942) - don't underestimate the winter!

RE: Leaders, and HQ

<t> There is a game mechanic by which Soviet divisions, whose HQ has been destroyed, can attach themselves to another Army. I think it involves the range between the division and the new HQ as well as the number of divisions the new HQ already has. This is from experience not the manual! <br/>

Usually, early on, I give the AP bonus (Maneuver) to the Panzergruppen. Useful for making pockets and attacking.

I just re-read Guy Sajer's "Forgotten Soldier" a few months back.

It's immersive and personal - also an easy read. Recommended.

RE: Testing thread for Public Beta 1.03b : Balance Adjustments

Forget my comment about fuzziness - was just tired eyes!

The font in the Unit Troops boxes (in the blue and red boxes) does appear to be smaller, though. Is that intentional?

Running Windows 7 with Nvidia GeForce GTX 650.

RE: Testing thread for Public Beta 1.03b : Balance Adjustments

Couple of things about 1.03h3

I did a concentric attack and when attacking from one hex it said +0%, from two hexes +20% and from 3 hexes +39%

I know the last should be 40.

Also, the graphics appear a bit fuzzier but it might be my old eyes.

RE: The "management" side is really special - plans for more?

Yes, Flanker, that's where I got the "hint".

As Cameron has said, they have lots of possible directions to take the DC3 system.

For me, a France 1944 scenario is a very attractive choice.
