[FIXED] Anti-torpedo torpedoes base PH

<r> I´ve realized that anti-torpedo torpedoes have a base PH of 0% against several types of torpedoes (I check it out against USET-80K, 65-76 Kit and UGST). The system detects the inbound torpedo and launch the interceptor, but it simple misses again and again.<br/>

Again, my point is that the wiki article says 450 to 1000 km at the same time it says 175 nm. Please don't denigrate wiki when you put flash cards and a program's table range as sources. Wki has issues, but is a better source than those.<e ...

RE: Stickied thread for minor database issues?

<t> The problem with the SPY-1 range is that the most credible sources constantly refers to a figure that dates back to the late 80s (even quoted in the first part of the Korean article: 175 nm max range, and 45 nm against sea-skimmers). <br/>
<br/>
But later on, in that same article, they are ...

Again, that is Aegis, not just SPY-1. There are multiple radars on most of the platforms at that time. The 48 does have the longer range as a more traditional mechanical scan radar.

<t> I´m talking about detection range. The guy that told me first about the 256 nm range said especifically that the SPY-1D can detect planes at that distance. RE: Stickied thread for minor database issues?

<r> I think that SPY-1D´s range, and probably SPY-1B too, could be 256 nm instead of the 175 nm stated on the DB. <r> I´ve checked the 1989 edition of The Naval Institute Guide to World Naval Weapons Systems and it also states the max range as "reportedly" 175 nm. <t> Back in the late Cold War years, the 600-ship Navy project envisioned a CVBG for the 90s consisting in 1x CV, 2x CG-47, 2x DDG-51, 2x DD-963, 1x AOE and the usual 2x SSN. Also, in wartime, CVBGs were to be merged in CVBFs with at least 4x CG-47, 4x DDG-51 and 4x DD-963.<br/>
