RE: Boxed Upgrade available for Barbarossa!

I've just received my boxed copy (not an upgrade; I bought the full edition, but didn't want to start an entirely new thread). Just wanted to say it's beautiful and helped me get stuck in to the game that little bit more. Great job, guys!

Exciting! I hope that whatever Plan B is, it'll retain the personality/politics aspect. Looking forward to hearing about it.

RE: Steam sale thread

I'm alright with actions games (FPSs, etc.), but I'm much the same with strategy games. If anything on Steam appeals but it's not turn-based, I go straight to the Discussions forums and search to check if there's a tactical pause.

That said, Hand of Fate does look appealing.

Reading Operation Barbarossa

<r> DC: Operation Barbarossa is my first <I><s></s>complex<e></e></I> Matrix/Slitherine game and I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far. I started reading Alan Clark's book <I><s></s>Barbarossa<e></e></I> to expand my background knowledge and it's certainly helped with the political/RPG ...

RE: Grogs, Start You Engines

How did I miss that there was a detailed Tank Encyclopedia in Op Star? I wouldn't have waited so long if I'd known! I wonder how they could improve on it in Mius Front, it seems extremely comprehensive (the graphs and charts are immensely pleasing).

RE: Grogs, Start You Engines

Much appreciated, M_R. I may well take you up on that! I opted for just the base game; I'll get DLC further down the line if it appeals enough.

I'll definitely be following the release of Mius Front - it certainly looks gorgeous!

RE: Trunk left by German soldier is dug up in Russia

There appears to be some slight mould on the shoes and possibly some of the clothing too; it's often products with organic materials that mould first, so it would make sense that it's the tobacco, leather and cotton(?) that's starting to go. Interesting! I hope it's not a hoax.
