- Private sector spends cash on retrofits, but I cant identify where this is recorded on their expense statement or my income statement.

I haven't really paid attention to diplomatic spending (protection, tribute, gifts). Just assumed it's all recorded. Will have another look.

Yeah, the thing is in higher difficulties than normal it is quite difficult to get money, because of the higher corruption offset

5) Yes I can find the files, like I said, I can load them from the list.
The folder is DW2\data\designs
Files are there, if you want to try.

4.) No designs are shown, and I set it to all designs//all types.
And I did make a design for every size and hulltype, except the dreadnought and fleet ...

So I made myself an afternoon and started an all-tech human empire to create a basic ship design of every shiptype in the game. Because when I have the automation for ship editors turned off, I don't always know if I have to create a new ship or base or something.

Because Solar Panels don't work outside of Star Systems and working Solar Panels save fuel.

Of course you could counter that the direct route would still be more fuel efficient, if the detour becomes to long.
My guess though is, that this would venture into the "travelling salesman"-Problem for ...

Possibly because of the limited Jump Distance.

Also pathfinding is required around obstacles like planets, asteroids and other ships shooting at you.

To stay in formation or to line up a shot with different weapons on different firing arcs.

On that note. I would prefer if my ships would not ...

I always built a small space port on every colony in DWU for the economic and happiness bonuses and never had issues with the costs or resource shortages and they came in quite handy for a massive parallel build to quickly build up fleets.

I'm doing the same for DW2 for the same reasons and also ...

They are working on the gamebreaking part of the Nebulas in how Ion Defense works.

But you could post your savegame as a bug report.
Because a constant money drain sounds like a big gamebreaker.

Ingame solution would be to remove auto retrofit from this design or
make a gift to your most ...

1. I have seen that 0 times.
The second a Mining station is planned, all other Asteroids nearby become unavailible . I could not force them to build a mine there.

2. That actually is a problem. One I already reported. Especially bad if there are way better resoruces in the same ...

Automatic 4 ) Solution Suggestion : Automation mode of Construction Ship is an Check-Box selection, so you can stack jobtypes you want the ship to do, instead of exclusive selection.


What do you mean? Like Auto-Salvage, Auto-Build, etc? Sure, but the problem is moving on to build other ...

Asteroid field mining needs rework.

On Automatic/Advisor Suggestion it can get really expensive:

4) Tying up constructors to build redundant asteroid mines delays expansion to secure other critical resources.

I would like to disable the Background from the Diplomacy Animation.


Actually I find the flickering irritating, it has nothing to do with performance.
It triggers my Shooter instinct and I am always afraid I have to shoot something on the upper left.

Same with the nebulous moving background ...

I would propose that a ship has always a small chance (10%) to not be affected by a nebula/storm "cycle/burst". This gives it a few extra seconds, until the next episode, to trigger its warp drive and get the hell out of the area.
Bonus, some drives can ignite faster (already, that's in the tech ...
