Won't be necessary, though. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the PBEM is working now.

File CRC32 mismatch \1.07.00\1861 Blue and Gray.dat

Also, I'm trying the new scenario and game hangs on checking supply after the first turn.

I tried versifying game files in steam.
