Re: A few bugs...

3/ It's not not intended. ;) I am aware of this and am happy to leave it in the game, the other SC titles allow this too. It makes sense - rail moves are equivalent to putting something on a train and sending it off somewhere else at max speed (and with two week turns, getting from the east ...

Fort Fisher spawns in when NC secedes. That's what DE 45 checks for.

Re: Fighting Spirit Decay Code Question and Confusion. Strategy Guide wrong?

The guide is correct, just worded a bit awkwardly. Short answer is that the #LEVEL check is a "this level or harder" check, not "only on this level" - eg. the script that has #LEVEL=3 will fire on both Veteran and Expert levels.

From the guide:
War Weariness: -400/turn (-200/turn for the Union AI ...

Re: Porting maps from other SC installments

Go to the WWI editor, open up the relevant campaign and then go File -> Export Data and save the relevant map layers somewhere. Then open the ACW editor, create a new campaign with the same map size, and Import the Data the same way.
Not everything will translate over perfectly (IIRC some of the sea ...

There's not really any benefit to shooting at the port. Maybe tell your artillerists to fire at the fortress instead :)

Re: Small Spelling Error

Hi Ryan I saw this was fixed in the recent patch but was not updated in my mod from before the patch. How can I update and fix in my mod? On that note is there anything else I need to update as it looks like all engine changes and I would think not? Thanks!

Re: Where are Fort Morgan and Fort Gaines?

A few more questions what are the white dots in the corner of the fort unit? When I added new forts they were missing these dots? Also how do you adjust the supply as the new Fort Gaines on the island has 0 supply? I'm assuming you put a resource town but when I place a town the supply is still 0 ...

Page 210 and on in the game manual. The section about editing map hexes starts p217.

Re: Where are Fort Morgan and Fort Gaines?

There's already three forts covering Mobile Bay, plus some fortification hexes. Any more seems excessive.

Right then it would seem to make more sense to move the forts in the cities of Mobile and Blakely down to the historical positions? Then you are not adding more forts. Trying to do ...

Re: Make Georgia Howl

Ok that's what I thought. No, I didn't disable the DE1007 before my MP game. I couldn't see how it was supposed to be done. I could do it when playing against AI but not MP for some reason.

Excuse my ignorance but what do you mean 'open up the save'? You mean the ACW game files on the hard drive ...

Re: Make Georgia Howl

By default (assuming no scripts have been turned off), the 1864 campaign will end on November 8, 1864.
If DE 1007 is disabled, then the game will end on the usual date of December 30, 1865.

I've checked the victory scripts again, and everything looks correct there. Is it possible that you didn't ...

Yes, both it and 1904 Imperial Sunrise are both part of the base game with the latest patch.

In my opinion, Hubert prépares in the future a more heavy piece of cake than this little DLC...

Is he testing the waters to prepare us for a 1870 war, then a Napoleonic war ?

Hubert is a crafty little fellow...

Hmmm. That worked. However, I don't want them to start the game at war with the Confederacy. I want to control them when the European powers invade them. How do I structure that?

That would be difficult as there is no actual "invasion" of Mexico by European powers during the Blue and Grey ...
