Re: Where the heck ?

Thanks again, it's all starting to come together :) Just one last question - for now - I'm starting the DLC (Marco Polo) and wanted to stick with 'Bleached Map 2.1'. Unfortunately, we have the unsightly 'big, RED X' (Not Implemented) scattered liberally. Any thoughts on an alternative ?

Re: Where the heck ?

Thanks very much for that info - I'll keep checking in anticipation. As I've not used these at all, where would be the previous efforts for WiE / WAW be located ?

Where the heck ?

So, I've played both SC:WiE and WAW, and enjoyed using various MODS incl. SIPRES Nato and Bleached Map. My problem is - I can't seem to find anything which I can successfully apply to WitP. In particular, I'd LOVE to implement the 'Unfortunate Son' counters. Can someone please point me at some links ...

RE: Scottish geography

Well how about that - I've learned something very useful. I didn't know, despite being brought up in Fife.
Mind you, 'Condor' would still sound better [:)]

Scottish geography

I can only assume that 'Ambrose' is meant to be 'ARBROATH' (Fleet Air Arm base). Initially amusing but now a bit irksome.
Also I accept the limitations of scale but perhaps Scapa Flow could actually be relocated to ORKNEY ISLANDS.

RE: Combat Planning & Results

<t> That's great Vic. In fact due to the advice gathered I've since worked my way through 'Case White', as both sides (not campaign yet). <br/>
France '40 looks pretty daunting in terms of unit density. I'd have welcomed a couple of lesser scenarios. For example like the Holland one. <br/>

RE: Combat Planning & Results

<t> Again that all makes good sense. I do appreciate the "divisional integrity" consideration as well as the "kessel" approach. <br/>
One other point concerns use of airstrikes and artillery. I notice that the AI tends to spread artillery, while I was thinking concentration on key stacks.<br ...

Combat Planning & Results

<t> I'm really enjoying the operational feel of this system, both for scale and its supply network. <br/>
Only one gripe about the terrain - pretty bland and difficult to sometimes distinguish.<br/>
My posting concerns combat resolution as I'm struggling a bit with committing level of resources to ...

Newbie - Artillery Range

As a precursor to Barbarossa, I decided to try Blitzkrieg.
One thing which is bugging me is that I can't find any reference to Artillery Range.
Can you please assist ?
