and yes, person who is designing new models is important too, his intelligence and technician skill (but that can be trained, especialy if you have cards which grants xp to leaders) are most important. intelligence more.

Thanks for the save, I've never seen a game lasting more than 140 turns.

A few notes to help you improve:

Your frontline units don't have HQs or postures. So you easily lose 100% attack/defense.

if airbridge dont bring lp, then it is good for exactly what ? only transporting units ? doest it tranport material or not ?
i didnt used airbridge to much, so it was my thoughts that it works same way as naval transport, but obviously it is different.

it is very simple - you need to increase capacity of air bridge, so it have more lp capacity and once it will haveenough lp generated, you will be able to send colonists there.
but beware, sometimes not enough lp avaivable is not from end (reciver) but from source (shq zone) or booth.

I also noticed that your two cities colonized by force are defined as regular zones instead of unincorporated, even though the population happiness is low.

The arrival point of the colonists needs logistical points.
Maybe you need a makeshift port to generate LP on the island, see the manual:

Very interesting, it did work this time. Did the behavior change recently where "replacement troops" will also show the count for militia units? Light Armor shows 70/80 on this save, and I don't ever remember seeing replacement militia counts in the replacement area. Probably a bug, militias ...

I just added 5 Blitzer III (which was missing for your 3 battalions) via replacement troops, and they were all replaced the next turn.
If there was a bug with the transformation from regular to militia, it doesn't seem to be happening again.

Units in your SHQ, except for the Gladius and the Cataphract, are considered militias. This prevents them from being used as replacements for your regular battalions.
However, in the Replacement Troops or Models tabs, they are considered regular.

The SHQ provides the items for unit creation. All item transfers from cities to the SHQ were completed at the start of the turn.

Your problem stems from the fact that you sent part of the logistics flow from the SHQ back to itself from Weimar and Osnabruck.

I have version 1.26.16 on menu screen (1.26 j3 on title screen) installed is that old? It's whatever steam downloads by default. The manual says for version 1.25 and it's the one that steam shipped with it.
