Does't it look like user account protection mechanism? I got used to this phenomenon since Windows 8. I like high protection, so I have a lot of low threat messages, also with your launcher process. I manually then give permission to the processes.

Edit: I only looked for new map(s) or scenario(s). I've learned: no scenarios or new maps at that moment.

Unfortunately I cannot find any version that removes the manual background.
(I noticed that there is a printer-friendly CMANO version 1.0 edition from 2013.)

Yesterday I installed the game on a K partition (Windows 8.1, 64bit), so to install on the HDD's C partition isn't a must any longer.

Only a side issue but: Though the site is still under construction, I like very much what I see and read.
