I really want to try this game out with the updated scenarios but i am unsure they are installed properly even though i followed the instructions.

Is it even worth updating them, or should i learn the game vanilla?

I did delete the Beta's shortcut after using SeeBee to create it's own.
I got it working though! turns out you can install games into Playnite by drag and dropping a shortcut to the main window.
I used SeeBee to create the shortcut with all the relevant switches and tried it...and it worked!

Yes i used SeaBee in the end for simplicity and the resolution was correct (1920x1080).

Hi all, just got this game and installed the official 1126a patch, then the unofficial 1126b beta patch and all of the updated scenarios in this thread.

However i seem to have 18 scenarios rather than the 15 here and only some of them say "updated" in the scenario selection screen and slot 16 is ...

I just recently bought WitPAE and promptly installed the 1126a official patch and the 1126b unofficial beta patch.
That is all i have done, i have no other mods installed though i am waiting for a working download link for the Kamikaze Bellum Pacifica Map .

I can successfully run the 1126a ...

Thanks for the link, i see there that RetreatUE does in fact include Haree78's Extended, Icemania's AI Improvement and DAS's Chrome UI mods.
Just to clarify: RetreatUE INCLUDES all the mods listed on that first post? so i do NOT need Unleashed Extended II if i install RetreatUE?

Still a problem for me, i still need to restart steam as administrator to play the game otherwise i get the steam not running error.

Sadly, i cannot uncheck the box, it is greyed out.

I can click "change settings for all users" button and the tick disappears, but when i click okay it is back and greyed out again.
