Running 1126b with Playnite "Error - Cant Set Screen Mode"

Hi all,
I just recently bought WitPAE and promptly installed the 1126a official patch and the 1126b unofficial beta patch.
That is all i have done, i have no other mods installed though i am waiting for a working download link for the Kamikaze Bellum Pacifica Map.

I can successfully run the 1126a game through Playnite (game library manager) with no error, however, adding 1126b (correctly) instantly crashes on launch with the error: "Cant set screen mode".

I have reinstalled the beta patch and readded the game to Playnite, however the error persists, can i run the game using Playnite? (i like to keep my games organised).
I did find a couple of posts on here with people with the same error, however these were not helpful in my case.

I have also tried using the SeaBee application though the error still pops up when ran through Playnite even though the created shortcut works fine.
I have also tried adding the game shortcut in the "Beta2" folder to Playnite manually, yet still the error remains.

I can run the 1126b through a desktop shortcut with no issues, but i do not want to have icons cluttering my desktop.

Can anyone help me get 1126b working though Playnite?

Other than the Beta 2 folder issue, the two patches are the same - last I heard.

Screen mode sounds like a switch issue. Did you set screen size (resolution) in the shortcuts?

The two patches are the same? i was under the impression that the beta patch fixed issues leftover after the 1126a official patch?

Yes i used SeaBee in the end for simplicity and the resolution was correct (1920x1080).
I double checked the switches on the shortcut too to be sure and the resolution is definitely set.

The shortcut that SeaBee created is what i am using to launch for now until i can (hopefully) find a way to run it through Playnite.

The Beta install program also makes its own shortcut and puts it on the desktop. That might be a conflict with the SeaBee one, if you used SeaBee to make a shortcut to the Beta.

I don't know anything about Playnite so can't suggest anything there.

I did delete the Beta's shortcut after using SeeBee to create it's own.
I got it working though! turns out you can install games into Playnite by drag and dropping a shortcut to the main window.
I used SeeBee to create the shortcut with all the relevant switches and tried it...and it worked!

I can now run the Beta 1126b through Playnite!
