Re: Can take another game (need Union opp)

Looks like aaron28a may have ghosted me as soon as the game turned against him.

Can't say it is the first time this has ever happened. It seems to be a trend with some players.

I have received another offer via PM, so I guess it is just best to move on.

Re: Can take another game (need Union opp)

Hey, aaron28a.

Where did you go? We were exchanging multiple turns very regularly every day, but I haven't seen anything in the last couple of days.

Did you get busy, or would you like to scrap our current game and start again?

Thank you, KZ. I am going to take you up on your offer. It will greatly shorten my learning curve, as you are an exceptional SC3 player yourself.

RE: Does Cairo always fall?

<t> I have done a lot of studying, both of the forums and the game, since the time of my last post in June. I have learned a great deal from the AAR posts in the forums. I still need to perfect the mechanics of my play, as well as learn the delicate balance of timing and force allocation. I now agre...

RE: Simple (?) wish on research options, incl. the breakthrough bonus

<t> Absolutely no offense taken, Private B. Whereas I am not new to gaming by any means, I am new to SC, so I do have a lot to learn to close the gap on the professionals. I should have paid more attention to the User Manual. In many of the games in my past experience, what is written in the User Ma...

Good thread, guys. Most of these I have figured out from study and experience, but seeing them listed here would have given me a leg up sooner.

I have always found the Axis position to be harder to play. In listening to these conversations, it sounds like the Axis dominates the game.
