As the NF story has progressed pretty far at the time this scenario is set i wonder: Has the USN lost any carriers yet? Don't recall it in the briefings and story around it all.

Is there any tutorial/smaller NF scenarios where one could test doing a smaller UNREP mission before tackling this monstrosity? I've never replenished a SAG before, let alone a CVBG..

It will be worth the wait. Remember that writing a book takes time. Add real life responsibilities to this (job, family etc) and making the scenarios in CMANO and it gets even busier.
