Disband and refit

<t> Hi, all. <br/>
<br/>
Playing the big game vs. AI. I'm the Soviets.<br/>
<br/>
Questions:<br/>
On turn 1, the Soviets have huge numbers of encircled units. Is it advisable to disband some of the encircled units? Fortified regions, for example, or airbases (units that have no hope of escape ...

Airbase questions

<t> In his "sequence of play" document, Dr. King advises:<br/>
<br/>
"- Airbases with a lot of damaged aircraft should send their air units back to reserve if the airbase doesn’t have enough support to repair them effectively. Also, air units with large numbers of “reserve” planes should go back ...

How do I set ToeM in the Commander's Report?

Hi,

The manual says you can set the ToeM for units in a column on the Commander's Report. However, I saw no such column on any of the various tabs of that report.

How can I set the ToeM for all my units globally?

Where can I find the number of Admin Points I have available?

<t> Hi, all.<br/>
<br/>
Trying to play the big campaign against the AI. I'm the Soviets.<br/>
<br/>
The scenario says I get 50 Admin Points per turn.<br/>
<br/>
How can I view how many AP I have expended so far in the turn and how many I have remaining?<br/>
<br/>
Very frustrating that it is ...

RE: Learning curve is prohibitive

If that's the case, that no one understands how the game works, what is the attraction?

RE: Learning curve is prohibitive

<t> Perhaps, but you're approach is more to my style. I don't like moving counters around without knowing what I'm doing. I know how to execute a pocket. I know how to complete a deliberate vs. hasty attack. I know how to blow a hole in the line with infantry and run my panzers through the line.<br ...

Learning curve is prohibitive

<t> Hi, all.<br/>
<br/>
My friend, doctorking, spoke very highly of this game. He and I have been wargaming friends for more than 20 years, so I have a lot of respect for his opinion.<br/>
<br/>
Well, I went ahead and bought the game. Very disappointed! I've spent 3 months trying to learn the ...
