My laptop did a windows update overnight and now, when FCSS starts up, the splash screen appears very briefly and then minimises to the toolbar. The menu then appears and is functional but when I start a game, the map remains minimised and won't open up although all the in game mini-windows ...

I have just tried this fix and I don't have a compatibility tab. Can anyone advise?

I seem to have solved it. The latest patch did it although I checked the original install and it said it was up to date. Thanks for the assistance

Okay, will try that. Should I delete the files in Documents as well?

On installing I just changed the default from c: to d: and left everything else as it was.
The system language is English

D:\programme files (x86)\Matrix Games\The Operational Art of War IV
The scenarios are all in the folder under this

So when I click on that button I get a path not recognised button and the game crashes...

Using Matrix not Steam and have upgraded from CMANO. However, my add ons don't appear and it asks me to buy new ones. Did I miss a step in the install and if so can I go back?
