Hello, looking forward to the release but wanted to confirm I had this correct based on my scenario.

I bought the original base game from Matrix.
I bought a bunch of DLC and some previous stand alone from Matrix
I also redeemed my original Matrix version content on Steam so I could play via Steam (previously bought base game +DLC)
Bought a bunch of DLC and stand alone modules directly from Steam (never bought from Matrix)

So my question/confirmation....

If I buy CMO directly from Matrix and then redeem the base game version on Steam, assuming all my previous content bought at Matrix and bought from Steam (even though never bought the additional setam content from Matrix) will be available in my new game by me simply redeeming it?

I believe the answers is correct, but got a little confused by having content bought split between Matrix/Steam and not planning to buy the new version from Steam (but instead just redeeming my matrix version).

50% is great deal. Day 1 purchase for me. Just have to decide if I get the boxed version or digital version. Have a week off beginning next week so CMO and fishing on the agenda. So far from the preview videos on youtube, I'm excited to see tacview in action for myself. One of the previewers said he hopes tacview stays the way it is and doesn't want it moved to 3D or anything fancy, but I'd like to see it move to something very visually appealing and realistic in the way the actual terrain is in real life. Although it will probably never become VR compatible, anyone who's made the jump to VR in flight sims knows what a quantum leap that is.

The answer here is yes. We cannot tell how someone got the Steam version of one of our games of DLC, so all of them will be granted the CMO version of the DLC, regardless of if it was originally bought on Matrix or Steam.

Just bought it, using my CMANO serial. Whilst I'm downloading it, can I ask - and sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere - will I need to buy all the DLC and live episodes all over again to get them to work in CMO? I have everything for CMANO, so that would be a hefty additional cost. Just checking. Thanks.

UPDATE: Ignore that. Found the answer in another thread. I think. It being that my DLC serials should unlock the DLCs in CMO without me buying anything else.

The process works great. Steam recognizes previously purchased DLCs and installs them, even if you purchase the base program from Matrix and then use the Steam key you receive to install the program through Steam. Just make sure that after Steam gets through the installation process you run the "update" that shows as being available. That seems to be what activates the DLCs.

If I use my CMO copy from Matrix and place it on to my STEAM account (where I have DLC from STEAM) this does not make my copy a STEAM version correct. I could still load my Matrix copy to my personal laptop that has NO steam and it would work fine correct?

If you buy CMO from Matrix, you also get a Steam key. If you want you can register this on Steam (via website or Steam app) - that would just mean you also own CMO (or at least have a license) on Steam.

So sure - you could install the Matrix version on your laptop without Steam, as well as install on another machine via Steam.

If you buy DLCs on Matrix, their keys can also be registered on Steam. AFAIK this also works in reverse - Steam-bought DLCs can be registered at Matrix.

FWIW Steam will allow installation on multiple machines, though will only allow it to run on one at a time. With the exception of Rick Wakeman, most of us can't use multiple keyboards anyway [;)]

I checked you can only use one coupon.

BTW there's a nice bundle on Steam: CMO+Tacview Advanced at 72 €. I'd prefer to buy CMO through Matrix even if it costs a few euros more. Can somebody who has already redeemed CMO on Steam check how much the bundle would cost?

Hi, a huge thank you all for the CMO, i had some problems yesterday, including that i ran out of memory during testing, but now it seems to run fine.

Regarding public game files, i just copy those files from CMANO scenario files and pasted them to CMO scenario files and they run just fine in CMO. If i want to play an saved game on CMO i have to save it first as an Scenario file first and then copy/paste it to CMO.
