Re: A Schlieffen Plan study

Any chance for you posting a new link to the PDF version. My old eyes can't really make out the version posted here.

I had downloaded the PDF years version ago, but it was on my old computer that died. This time I'll make sure to back it up in the cloud.

Thanks in advance

Re: A Schlieffen Plan study

What would be a somewhat ideal counter to a good Schlieffen by an above average player?

Does France -
1. Keep counter-attacking if odds are equal/better?
or does it go fully defensive?

2. Does not capturing the Ottoman BB and thus delaying entry by 4-6 months help Russia and Entente? (due to ...

Re: A Schlieffen Plan study

The updated link in the first post doesn't work for me. Any chance you could update it? I'm a new player and I'd like to try out this strategy. I've been unable to conquer Belgium and northern France on my own. Mostly because of a severe lack of competence on my side.

Sorry for that, updated ...

Re: Building new units question

All,

I saw this in the manual

“Land and air units that are destroyed at supply 5 or higher are cheaper to buy back and will be ready in half the indicated time. The names of these units will have an asterisk after their name, and it is strongly recommended to purchase these units first.”

My ...

<t> Yes and also, FR needs to attacks Belgium before UK war entry because UK will take a huge NM hit if it's mobilized 100% when Belgium is DoWed.<br/>
Which is a bit weird given the neutrality guarantees from the 1839 treaty but well...<br/>
Maybe it should decrease UK mobilization if done before ...

Also instead of just clicking on another unit, try to move one before going back to your transport.
Another trick you can try is right click on the unit to use naval cruise from its menu !

I’m new to strategic command and I’m interested in purchasing either Classic WW2 or Global Conflict. I can’t really seem to differentiate the two though. What are the major differences between the games? Thanks for any help!

RE: Refusing Brest-Litovsk?

<t> Accepting allows CP to redeploy lots of experienced units wherever they want but you'll lose NM and MPPs from all conquered russian locations so you'll be on a timer to achieve victory on other fronts. Those NM locations usually help to offset the NM hit from naval blockade for Germany and can ...

Also, I believe Dazo mentioned that the Russians can get a second hvy bomber by event. So its reasonable to do some modest research on these if the Russian player chooses to keep them in play early on in the War.
