The original CC2 ABTF because of nostalgia.

Fox your English isn't terrible, but it's not amazing either. You should not lash out at people who are just having a difficult time understanding what you're trying to say. You lash out like this a lot. Don't be an ass.

RE: New 3D models - thinking in the future

These are looking great. I used to play WWII fighters as a young boy, and the Wirbelwind still gives me nightmares!

RE: Any New News Updates??

<t> Okay I should have checked out their Facebook page ages ago, but I finally did and was I shocked to see some actual clips of gameplay!! Wow, it's actually looking really good! I like the way the game looks and so far the animations look smooth and pretty well polished. I am really getting ...

RE: Any New News Updates??

Yeah, fair enough. I just love these games, and I am of course looking forward to this one. I just hope they don't drop the series after this game. With all the issues they've had I could imagine dropping the series has come up.

RE: Any New News Updates??

<t> I would like to see a little bit of gameplay. Maybe a small demonstration of how some old mechanics work in the new engine. I'm really not asking for a whole lot here.<br/>
<br/>
Also, maybe some news on how the beta tests are going. They announced that a couple months ago, and it's been radio ...

RE: Any New News Updates??

I fully appreciate the idea of the fully moddable game, but it still seems that Matrix/Slitherine haven't provided much support, at the very least on the front of marketing and exposure.

RE: Any New News Updates??

I have to agree with Fro. It's frankly saddening how little marketing this game has had. I also have no idea what went so wrong with the development that it's taken this long. I would have loved to had a game with the old engine two or three years ago to fill the void.

RE: Went to play classic game, but...

I agree as well. It was definitely the case that different units occupied the same areas, and executed joint operations in the same sectors.

Even that would be fun. I'd love to play through a campaign co-op with a friend.

RE: Feature Request: Multi-Player Resource Allocation

<t> That sounds absolutely incredible! I think I could get lost in a mode like that. Let me start off by saying that sounds like it could be pretty damn difficult to implement in the base game, but it could be modded in well enough I would imagine.<br/>

RE: Close Combat:Civil War?

I should have asked earlier, but do I need CC3 to run the Vietnam mod, as opposed to the newer CoI? Is there a good place to get a hold of the original CC3 nowadays. I'm not particularly versed in how to get a hold of the older ones.

RE: Why teams instead of squads?

<t> I like the team level if I'm honest. I have definitely read that the U.S. Army would often break squads into a move/assault element, and a base of fire element. So a BAR element combined with a rifle team seems to be the perfect fit.<br/>
