Can we have it so clicking on a hex selects all the units in that hex?

I second that. while i like the game itself, the UI is terrible. selection of a unit should be in the hex not in a list. right click shows already the units in the hex. maybe keep it as as pop up and then u can ...

i downloaded CMO-MultiSetup-v1.05.1307 and run the exe.

In case you are talking about the un-highlighted grid, that is part of the map and cannot be turned off. Players that have no hex grid showing are using a non-stock map.
The highlighted grid can be toggled with the F6 key.
The w key toggles hexside ownership info.

Hex and Hexside display are not the same thing.

Playing with or without hexes is a map style and is permanently on or off and can only be controlled prior to loading a game through the peference screen.
Hexside detail displays the type of terrain between hexes and thus what can move between ...

I switched the hex and hexside display off in the preferences, but after loading the game they still display.

Still looking for an AI implementation. It says in a future release and this is already v 7. Anything on the road map or did i miss something as there is no new game with AI available.
