What's the main differences between Campaigns Series system and JTS' Panzer Battles system?

Since for a starter like me they look similar

If a scenario doesn't states that "human should play as X side"
this means its designed to be played with any side against AI ?
And there are designed AI paths for both?

For 2D wargames like CMO or Campaigns Series:

Does playing with a Curved Monitor effects the feeling of the game and breaks the immersion?

Even for a little bit, and especially for the good old games like SPMBT or others?

Campaign Series Cold War is in the queue, but I can't guess a release date at the moment.

So it is fairly decided that Cold War will be after East Front 2 ?

From what I know this year will be Vietnam, next year (?) will be East Front 2,
Then the year after will be Fulda Gap. Correct ?

So would it work if I bought an old monitor ?
