Hey everyone! So I just downloaded it, and did some of the tips above, but the first turn takes the computer about an hour or so to get through. Is this normal?

Hey everyone,
New player here, it seems like each turn takes like an hour to complete, in terms of when I click end turn and it goes through all the actions. I have the animations turned off already. Anyway to make it...not so slow?
