I don't think it will be a simple port as 3d assets don't exist for it.

The mod can be manually installed - it is an additional database in the game folder, but you need to get a copy from the workshop to do that as the ModDB version has not been updated.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to make AB2 run on Mac. I use Crossover (which uses Wine) and installed into a new Windows 10 bottle using the installer, but skip installing .Net 4.7.2 at the end of the process.

Install into the same bottle through Crossover:
- DirectX for Modern Games
- .Net 4 ...

If possible, I'd like a keyboard key that could be held instead of middle-click to rotate the camera. This would make it possible to play using a trackpad. Graviteam Tactics for example uses C in this way, but of course that's already used. Maybe Z?

The newest patch for download from Matrix is Update v1.068 from Sep 12, 2022.

For me, running a VM on a Macbook Air is overkill - there's just not enough storage. I use Crossover, but there is an issue (for both EDTBTR and WITP AE) with the copy protection software used. I had to re-code it myself, otherwise it crashes and then the game won't start.

Sound is also a problem ...

Eagle Day to Bombing the Reich just got a patch, fingers crossed the WiTP one is not far behind!

There is a problem with default preferences in this version - colours all default to black, and the default settings don’t look correct.

Also there is a strange message “China accu losses” during new game selection.

I'd love to see widescreen support added like War in the Pacific did - just the ability to scale the window or fullscreen.

I realise the interfaces are different, but I personally wouldn't mind blank space in the UI for a full screen view of the map.

Works fine in Crossover, but like SGS games or Carrier Battles Guadalcanal, it's nicer native.

I wanted to drop by and add a note that I'm playing FCSS fine with Crossover on a MacBook Air M2. There is a small bug with menus that means you have to mouse over them for the text to appear, but that's only a small issue. I didn't need to install any additional software into the bottle - worked ...

I think a major part of the argument is that dragging and dropping ships would be highly tedious. It's currently set up to move fleets. You're working with a navy, not a couple ships.

The issue would be making the game have a more welcoming few hours, but a far less easy game for long-term play ...

I've got the same issue - I only see scenarios 1, 3, 11 and 12. Is there a way to force C:MO to re-verify files/re-download?

Re-installing with the latest patch installer (non-beta) doesn't help, and the DLC installer hasn't been updated to support Kashmir Fire.

There's an issue with the description for #718 - AIM-120C-7 AMRAAM P3I.3 - it comes up as a MIM-23 HAWK description. Image looks OK.

Can workaround by deleting Weapon_718.txt
