Not sure new players will always hide unit counters (I don't always do it for a start), which I fear would lead to frustration as per Shard's reply.

I'd support at least getting advice in the Urgent Issues report for fatalities due to supply issues - if there isn't one already (I've not noticed one). I've not ran into big issues with this, though I'm very vigilant of troops outside full/green supply range.
