What is in a particular OOB

Post by tinjaw »

When I am choosing which OOB to research next, I would like to have an in-game reference that lets me know what is in each OOB so I can choose based on my current needs.

Agreed, the pictures are helpful - but they only appear when it's discovered and after researching it. Some trial-and-error has been necessary.

If mousing-over the options in the Decision screen would indicate the types of units mixed into each OOB, that would be very helpful.
E.g. "Infantry, Conventional Artillery, Motorised" or something similar.

You can find the information in the Reports tab. There's a section called "Formation reports" or something like that. Discovered but not operationalized OoB's are listed at the end.

Reference, Discover the Formation Type Overview.

However, I agree that link to this report for each option would be a great QOL improvement.

Thank you Lloydster4 and Malevolence, I hadn't realised!

Indeed a tool-tip would help new players and those unable to click buttons like me.
