Yes - take Paris last. And kill more units.

Any major country will not surrender, even after it's lost all of its capitals, if there are sufficient land units remaining. I think the calculation is 3% x no of units?

That and the NM value is calculated in to for the check turn by turn. I don't ...

I obviously do not have access to any detailed overall game results, but from my experience with MP Russian Civil War matches, the scenario is rather easy for the Bolsheviks to win.

One of the oddities about the way that Strength scripts work is that they fire if a unit is within a certain specified range of a given hex, rather than if a unit is beyond a specified range of a given hex. I have often wanted to be able to write Strength scripts that kick in if a unit gets too ...

Whoa! A lot to chew on there. Old Crow your suggestions will be relatively easy to mod. Cradle of the Gael's ideas will be harder and would entail more complex modifications. But some of his suggestions seem doable as well. I would still be interested in reading opinions from other players, though ...

It should actually work one-sided since it only concerns sound files and is ultimately of a cosmetic nature. Unless Slitherine changed something in their matchmaking.

I would consider this as really important (maybe covered above by CradleoftheGael in parts 1 and 2), is my own simpler take.

Polish NM Loss and defections have to be ratcheted up way more then even the revised version when they cross the policy lines set as they are now.

Is there anyway to lower or quiet the ingame sound when selecting a unit or item in a production or research screen (or any other selection) within the game or editor itself?

This pertains to my recording for YT and I have wondered about this for about 4 years of SC content ...

Yes, those messages are annoying rather than game breaking.

However, St. Petersburg doesn't exist in the map (it's Petrograd instead) and I don't know where Weij might be.

That neither exist in my developer's version, nor am I getting such messages is very odd indeed.

How odd. Yes, I was getting that error message. The game continued to start up so it wasn’t altogether game-breaking.

Here's a similar helmet to the one the Gurkha soldier is wearing in the above post. Got this in PDR Lao in the mid 1980s. Very useful when raining and crawling through the bamboo..... ;)

Does your new laptop have a larger screen? Getting a larger monitor did seem to improve image resolution for me even without a new PC. But, then the old one was an antique by the time I replaced it.
