Allied Pilot Replacements

For BtR I know I saw somewhere the numbers for the Axis pilot replacements. I was trying to see where I can find the numbers for the Allies. I'd also like to find out if they change over time. It wouldn't make sense to keep pilot replacements steady as you're able to launch more and more sorties per ...

Flak Trains

I know you can attack flak trains and damage them. Does this actually reduce their capability or even potentially force their replacement?

Strafing Railways

So I notice my fighters and night fighters tend to attack railways a lot, but I've never noticed it doing any real damage. Does this produce any effect other than pulling them into light AA range?

Damaged Aircraft

Hi all, I've been a long time player of this game since about 2001. A big fan. As I've gotten older I've tried to get deeper into the nuts and bolts to understand how things work. So one thing I'm wondering, in BtR do Axis aircraft when damaged in the air or on the ground expend aircraft parts or ...

There is no intrinsic flak but if the airfield is near locations with larger caliber flak you will be target by those as well.

Thank you for the information, that may be what is happening sometimes.

RE: Flak at Undefended Airfields

<t> I'd accept that as a possibility if the same airfields weren't involved over the course of days, weeks, and, even months. Sooner or later I would think one of the many recon flights would have to see something. Thus the question are there integrated flak defenses or is it something else. Because ...

Flak at Undefended Airfields

<t> In BtR I've noticed my planes take losses from flak when attacking, or even just bouncing landing aircraft over airfields that recon shows do not have AA guns emplaced. I've even double-checked by running recon flights before, during, and after a raid and they show no flak. So my question is, is ...

RE: What is your ONE must have item?

One thing I'd like is when doing Airfield recon if it would note not just how many, but what types. Not even specific models, but maybe even just "single-engine" and "twin-engine" designators.

Line and box.<br/>
Whilst the icons can look nice they clutter up the screen when too many raids are up there. <br/>
The line and box looks more like plots and the relative size of box to the raid gives more information ...

RE: Mechanics of ACM...What is possible, not possible

I have the most up to date version. And the strafing is certainly better than it used to be, I'd just like the option to order a FS to not engage in it at all if possible in the next big update.

Re airfield CAPs: go to Mechanics of ACM thread.

Looking at that thread it says nothing about preventing strafing runs on airfields or railyards your fighter sweeps pass over.

RE: Any tips or guides for 1943 campaign as Allies?

<t> Theoretically? Yes, Armaments factories at least produce a set amount of military equipment, so if you can keep the pool of equipment low you can eventually drive down the overall combat value of the german ground units as they run out of Artillery, AFVs, etc. But you really have to work at it ...

<t> A few things I've learned.<br/>
1) You'll need to run recon on your BC targets the next day to actually see if you've done damage.<br/>
2) Once they have some experience you can actually attack industrial targets with a fair amount of success. This can let you hit high-value targets in the ...

<t> I think an increase in the number of mission would be good. I'm always running up against the mission limit. Particularly in months where I only get 1-2 good bombing days a week.<br/>
Another thing I'd find really useful is numbers on replacement aircraft for the allies each day since it seems ...
