RE: Asterix use

I find it quite useful when scrolling down the report flipping groups back to ops from rest. I prefer to focus on the mission column rather than the group names.

RE: Asterix use

I'm not certain but I would presume that the asterisk indicates those squadrons won't be available for combat missions during the turn.

RE: ZoC question

Thanks, I'll take more care in the future. I'm playing on AI 100 across the board, but looks like I need to pay more attention to cavalry and tank units.

RE: ZoC question

Thanks Clarlkay58. I was just a bit puzzled that my units cannot flip empty hexes next to enemy units - and I understand why not - but empty hexes next to mine are being flipped without enemy units passing through them.

RE: ZoC question

<t> Thanks for all the answers. From what I can tell - having had a similar thing again the next turn - some of my Axis units do not always appear to be establishing the ZoC necessary to prevent nearby enemy units from flipping hexes next to them (as per section 7.4.3 of the manual). Does this ...

ZoC question

<t> As I try to understand how ZoC works, my Panzer Corps advance was cut off by the Soviets because I was bit greedy - no problem there - but three hexes that flipped were next to an infantry division. I can't post a screenshot as I don't have 10 posts yet, but why did a hex next to a division flip ...

Map control

<t> A relatively minor issue but coming from WITE/WITW where right-clicking on a hex towards the edge of the screen moved the map, is there any way to map (pun intended) the middle mouse button - or another button - to have a similar effect? I'm not keen on edge scrolling, and having a dual screen ...

RE: Allies losses during German turn

Thanks for the advice. I'll try to remember to track the opponent's losses in my next campaign.

RE: Allies losses during German turn

OK thanks. I was just a bit confused because the numbers seem quite high; from what I can tell the the Germans have 50-200 permanent losses per turn whilst I have 10,000.

Allies losses during German turn

It's April 1945 vs AI and as the Allies I am suffering high losses - between 8,000-12,000 - during the German turn, without any combat. Is there any way of finding out where I'm losing these men?

EDIT: I would add an image but I'm a new user.

Thanks!
