Re: Paratroops perform a paradrop how?

I believe an air unit has to be nearby also.

But I would have to validate that.
I know you can't use air supply unless an air unit is in range.
Forget regarding paratroopers.

Re: Italy auto joins early June?

Well then the weather is not correctly built. October and November should be rain...December, Jan and Feb snow, then rain in March and April. Clear/cold turns in 1941, 1942 are often game changes for the Axis. That is why I liked the Severe Weather version, but there is a huge Iraq bug that will hop...

Re: Bombardment?

Correct.

For WPP IF I remember it appears to be 1/3rd of the units surface value...up to a max of the strength of the attacking unit.

Re: Italy auto joins early June?

Well I agree it is a benefit for the Axis...it is also a benefit for the Allies as they know the weather too. Knowing that the next turn will be rain, the Allies could launch an offensive, so if they lose they know no counter attack is coming. I like a little randomness in the weather just not the w...

Re: Aviation conveyor of Poland

To be honest it is pretty basic. The Germans should be able to conquer Poland in 2 turns. If they can't expect to lose against France.

Any player should have been learning by practicing the battle against Poland and pretty much have it down.

Re: Aviation conveyor of Poland

They do receive the air unit.

I believe it is the Polish pilots, the expensive part of the air unit...training.

This should never happen to be honest...it also forces the Germans to actually fight in Poland rather than just pull out and go elsewhere early...not that they should.

Re: Yugoslavia on the side of Axis in 1940

I have had this issue with diplomacy being on and not noticing after and update.

I have not once ever used it. It completely breaks the game.

Maybe it can be disabled completely in another update.

Re: Italy auto joins early June?

It is rarely possible to get to Paris in June...BUT a clear April has happened and I have been next to Paris in June before. The only good thing about fixed weather is the Allies know what is coming. Prior Germany has a huge advantage knowing and moving. I would like to see it switch to the Allies s...

Re: Italy auto joins early June?

Well in reality they did. France fell last June...so they should be near Paris in early June. The issue in game is they finish off France fast enough that they can tear through Yugoslavia before winter and then get to Greece in 1940. This changes the Russian campaign and the Germans are ready May of...

Re: Italy auto joins early June?

It used to be when Germany got adjacent to Paris...but a time was added because some players were taking to long and needed the assistance. At least I think that was the reason.

Re: UK Mystery Forces

As I said randomly seen a ship go their way but never a unit.

Yes the Free French show up but that is about all.

Re: UK Mystery Forces

I don't see any Homeguard in the event file.
Never seen that before and I have been invaded a few times.

That was why I asked how many units were in France when they surrendered?
If they had units in Vichy they would get put into the queue.

Re: vs subs

Based on some basic testing... DD = 1% CV = 2% French work in both North and South Atlantic...so just matters if a convoy is running it seems and you are at war. I would have to make a complete guess as to what you issue may have been. My best guess is that maybe your ships were not on the convoy ro...

Re: UK Mystery Forces

I forgot...did he have units in France when they surrendered? If so those units will get put in the queue if they are in Vichey...since they can't get out. I wonder if those are what he is seeing.

Re: UK Mystery Forces

But what does this have to do with the UK getting all of these infantry corps after being invaded? You said they got reinforcements...I did not notice they got corps. What corps did they get? There is rarely anything in the French build queue. What is a "reup"? I never invade the UK so I ...

Re: UK Mystery Forces

Random French naval units appear to be joining the UK... I got the sub which is really odd, but honestly it is kind of interesting. Does not bother me much but if they were receiving half the navy that could be an issue. This had nothing to do with an invasion. My opponent got nothing for his UK arm...

Re: Axis supply in Arkhangelsk

It is a port supply issue. There is nothing in the code that prevents Axis supply by sea to that location even with the sea frozen. Same could be said for the port in the Baltic that is not the Finnish capital. If the Finnish capital is lost that port still provides supply to Axis units there even t...

Re: minor correction

Absolutely but you also need one more division in order to keep Italy out of the war. Splitting the unit gives you 7 units...you need 8... 2 to cover Cyprus and 6 to keep within Egypt... Then you also need more because when you have to take Syria you need ZOCs and larger units to keep the Italian in...

Re: minor correction

In any case...you need a large corps to show up in Egypt else risk a really bad Axis invasion. Though depending upon which scenario you are playing there are ways to mitigate the loss of Egypt. So when the game starts...and this is by memory...there are 6 units in Egypt...one is a small corps. You c...

Re: minor correction

I have done this more than once... I suggest you split you corps in the Middle East because you just need 6 units. Does not matter how strong they are. When the game starts the UK have 6 units, and one can be split. You will still have to move a unit to the Middle east. Sadly if the range is "e...
