Re: How to understand fuel consumption per turn?

Finally, FYI, German fuel stores/pool line chart. As others have brought up before, why does fuel stop decreasing at 260K. Does less fuel reach the factories/units/civilians. If so, can we observe this change in any of the tables/charts?

How to understand fuel consumption per turn?

I'm currently running an AI v AI game, 1941 No Early End, and I cannot figure out how fuel usage works.

Consider the following fuel situation as Germany in turn 79 (Dec. 1942). I have 342K fuel stored in cities/pool/units

In the next turn (turn 80), the fuel situation looks like ...

Road to Karelia Finnish Rail Repair Units

In Road to Karelia, the Finns don't appear to have any rail repair units. Is there a historical reason for this? Did the Finns not bother to bring along rail repair teams because they weren't planning to advance deep into the USSR?

Re: Transitioning to WITE-2 Red Army?

TIK is very hit-or-miss. But as a general rule of thumb, his military history videos are much better than his politics/economics videos. The latter of which can be very "creative."

Re: Let's Take a Look at Urban Combat Again

This is contrary to what happened in real life when the Germans were able to capture cities like Voronezh, Stalingrad, and Rostov in 41 through assaulting the city itself.

As others have said, I wonder how many of the cities you listed here, the soviets actually invested resources to defend ...

HQ Set Support Level not working?

I'm playing the Operation Mars scenario as the Soviets on 1.02.39_Beta and I've noticed that that the HQ support levels don't seem to be doing anything. I've set army HQs to support level 9, but no army has more than 4 of any type of SU. Meanwhile STAVKA has hundreds of SUs attached to it despite ...

Re: Axis Allies no move line

Why 'unrealistic'?

That line itself is an arbitrary decision that hypotizes for no reason a division of this or that nation would not have gone north of that 'parallel'.

Nothing ideally prevents an Axis Minor unit to operate around Leningrad, if not some imposed, entirely arbitrary decision for ...

Re: Axis Allies no move line

hmm... you're right. However due to the map projection, this no-move line is north of Poland and Germany which does lead to unrealistic scenarios like Hungarians defending Danzig and Konigsberg.

perhaps a diagonal line that moves south the further west you get might work? But yeah, its not that ...

Axis Allies no move line

Can we bring back the Axis-Allies no move line that was in the original WITE? Historically, the Romanians, Hungarians and Italians only fought in the South and the no move line was a good way to represent that. Right now in my VtB campaign, its pretty weird to see the German AI sending Hungarians to ...

Re: Can we expect DLCs?

This looks awesome!

But in real life, was there really that much cooperation between the RAF and the Red Army to warrant their inclusion in the scenario?

Re: lets talk about soviet cavalry again

how many guns are gone for the strongest Axis unit in 1 turn ?
what about ammo and fatigue?
and all of this for the cost of one depleted airborne brigade (cav can act the same)

Are you seriously complaining about losing 400 men and 45 guns?? In your example the Soviets attacked with 5:1 ...

Manual engagement of SUs

<t> Just wondering: why can't we manually select the SUs in the superior corps and army HQs to participate in an attack. It seems a bit strange that we can choose things like aircraft flight altitudes and yet the SU selection is left to dice rolls, especially since in real life, the latter type of ...

RE: Start of T04

<t> The Vistula-Oder Offensive was pretty much a reverse Barbarossa historically. By this point most of the German reserve had been spent in the Ardennes and the rest sent to relieve Budapest so the Soviets once breaking through the forward lines in central Poland just kept going until they reached ...
