I mostly agree with your assessment... but if you play a competent Axis player, you will likely not hold Voronezh. That or you will lose a strategic city elsewhere.

Eventually you will buy them all... the exception is Lord Gort... I get rid of him asap.

Anyone else getting the Communication Error when trying to PBEM?

This is happening in one of my games too. YUGO is staying at 45 and it is 42. Barbarossa is in full swing and I need to have the Axis focus its attention elsewhere.

My amphibious unit always embark to a hex which is disadvantageous to me. Then it gets killed. Not only did I lose the unit, but the 50-70 MPP for embarking them.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DEVs.... let me chose which hex they embark if I have multiple choices.

When I click on that error it says client mismatch

I am attempting to do PBEM and the game is telling me I have to upgrade and there is a client mismatch.

It's fine. Ambushes with those early brigades are less a "true" ambush and more both armies sort of blundering into each other and then feeling compelled to fight it out, rather than just skirmishing for a bit and retreating. Risky strategy though... it doesn't take long for divisions to ...

I believe the Forts are a little weak in SC ACW.

My recommendation: Instead of .5 for each Fort Modernization Tech, make it +1.
