Re: [1892] Hypersonic Cruise Missile trun rate issue, too slow
I added target ships and a carrier moving at flank speed, the missiles (Zirkon, YJ-19 and CJ-1000) and impacted without problems or detoured as you described.
Another problem, perhaps related with it or due to the high speed, is when you plot a course. In this case the carrier was stopped.

Re: [1868] [DB v517] DF-26D hit water before activating radar seeker
I have similar issue with DF-26D flying at 90k feet over mach 17 and fails to use sensors
yj-17 also fails half way after launch to target with no sensors
CJ-1000 missed my carrier group did an entire 2-300 nm circle to re attack at mach 8+ 30 feet off the ground not running out of fuel or speed ...

[1892] Hypersonic Cruise Missile trun rate issue, too slow
I discovered that all the hypersonic cruise missiles in the game have a problem of excessively low turning rate (much lower than that of HGV, almost completely straight and unchanging at a scale ranging from several tens to about 100 nautical miles). As a result, the HCMs with anti-ship capabilities ...

Re: [1868] [DB v517] DF-26D hit water before activating radar seeker
After many tests, it seems that the problem of hitting water in advance only occurs within a range of 1800 nautical miles.

[FIXED][1868] [DB v517] DF-26D hit water before activating radar seeker
Dear developers. In the new 1868 beta, I happened to find that the new DF-26D ASBM, when targeting a surface ship, hitting the water before it activating radar seeker. While targeting land facility, it has no such problem. Maybe its trajectory fall too fast too spare enough altitude for seeker to ...

Even looking at the last two years, they aren't far off the db schedule. It goes in spurts if you look at each year. Its lumpy based on what is needed and aligned with the changes in the code.
After further reflection, I think I found the answer I was originally looking for. That's why I love ...

I didn't miss your point. I got it exactly. You want dbs faster. And my point is what units are you waiting for. Maybe if you are more specific and point out the scenario you are trying to build, you might get some action or even a workaround. I can't imagine that just jumping into a thread and ...

Bruhhhhh... Man, I think u just missed the point. The point is: Can database release be more timely? So I can put new unit into new scenario.Well...if you just want to see what other people come up with, just go to that link. Its very easy and means you can skip this thread.

So what exactly is missing? Are there requests in the db queue on github that you are waiting on? If you are expecting a new db once a month or so, I assume you are very active in requestion new units. I haven't checked.

Re: When can we get the new update? aka: Do we have a schedule for the release of upgrade packs?
It is also an essential component.
But adding stuff to a database and fixing previous problems in it is an easier task compared to engine coding.
Perhaps, we can try to make database updates not tied to certain new engine coding tasks, such as a stand-alone database update package, which ...

Is there something in the db you need for a scenario? dbs used be only a few times a year. Its only recently that it started happening faster. I'm really not sure why the heavy pressure on dbs.
In order to achieve a more realistic scenario.

Re: When can we get the new update? aka: Do we have a schedule for the release of upgrade packs?
They do not release new database versions alone.
They come with new versions of the engine, and apparently is complicated to solve the issues the engine has.
Yes, and this is what I suspect, the engine itself is more problematic, causing database updates to be slowed down.
However, I hope ...

Re: When can we get the new update? aka: Do we have a schedule for the release of upgrade packs?
The database has been on a three month release cycle for the past few years. Actual public release depends on game update releases, so it's going to vary a little.
I have checked the release time of previous updates with database: db v503-12/12/2023, v504-19/01/2024, v505-15/03/2024. It can be ...
