Can field marshalls not be used as corps commanders? I wonder because Rommel has good stats but quite bad admin value so he is not that suited to high commands

Re: 1941 Campaign Beta German Build units file

Can someone please enlighten how to mod scenarios for the germans to be able to build units?

Ticking "buildable" in the editor alone doesnt seem to do the trick.

Also, will the scenarios be edited in the final patch for the germans to be able to build units?

Re: Quick Questions Thread

I have a couple of questions that arose while playing the soviets.

I am used to the german Unit - Corps - Army - Army HQ - OKW chain of command

The soviets without some exceptions skip the corps and follow the Army - Front - Stavka scheme.

As for the germans you always want a unit to be no more ...

Re: Quick Questions Thread

August 1942, just took moscow but left with some questions

Do national supply sources still produce supply even though they are surrounded/pocketed? It didnt look like the fortress moscow was running low after weeks of constant fighting

Does air support help in attacking towns? If so, ground ...

Re: Quick Questions Thread

When i capture cities with large manpower "factories" do i prevent this manpower output to be multiplied with the yearly factor given in the manual and thus prevent it from going to the enemy's manpower pool?

Because even if the city is surrounded it says population moves to city XXX

Re: STOP exporting my Schnapps to ports!!!

So correct setup is NSS - export port prio 2 - import port prio 3 - frontline depot prio 4?

Why do i not set up many import/export ports? Is the amount of ships the limitting factor and the supply would pile up?

Re: STOP exporting my Schnapps to ports!!!

I never understood this, do export ports need to be high priority to draw freight from NSS and import ports need to be high priority to receive the ship freight? If they are at 4, will the import ports forward freight to a priority 3 depot?

Re: Grunhilde gets antsy - 1941 GC

Very interesting read, happy to have you back!

At this point the only thing you do is slow down the red tide and inflict as many casualties as possible? So winning on the battlefield is not possible for the germans?

Re: New v1.02.39 Public Beta Now Available!

Thank you. Tanks breaking down while being railed was annoying and led to week long delays in early 1942 because you had to wait for snow levels to melt away. Can this be applied to an ongoing campaign?

Re: Quick Questions Thread

I get this. But i dont get the logic behind it. Why do they become damaged while being railed. I thought they get damaged while trespassing bad terrain/deep snow in very cold temperatures.
