Re: CMO - v1.08 PUBLIC BETA - Brand NEW Features

The new features sound amazing! Very excited about the ASCM restrictions, missileboats wil be a lot deadlier now they can use islands and terrain as cover.

Re: [1567.6] NFZ Baltic 22 - Russia becomes hostile when loading saved game

If you disable the 'Baltic AP' mission then save and load the posture will not change. If you have a unit added as a target to an active strike mission, command wil change the posture to the unit's side to 'hostile' when you load a save for some reason.

Re: [1567.6] NFZ Baltic 22 - Russia becomes hostile when loading saved game

It's because the strike mission 'Baltic AP' has two Russian targets.

Re: New scenario for testing: The C-Team, 1988

Thanks for your reply! I'll take a look at the artillery, I have turned "detailed gun fire-control" on, but I don't know if this impacts performance. Starting ops by a certain time was intentional. The red OOB is extensive, but might not be 100% correct ;) . I'll add some more unguided mun...

New scenario for testing: The C-Team, 1988

Hello everyone, I've got a new scenario for you all to test. In this scenario, you command a force composed of National Guard, reserve and reactivated units in an attack against Cuba on day 55 of WW3. I'm very interested to hear opinions and suggestions. --- Scenario description: 55 days ago, the co...

Re: Scenario 1: Down Bird

Just had a look in the editor, as I really got confused and a bit bored while playing. You only get points for detecting the aircraft wreck and sinking Soviet ships and subs. I found the scenario a bit unpolished and confusing. The Soviet landing message is triggered by any Soviet ship that enters t...

Re: Command: MO - Fail Safe out February 25th

Definitely a bit of a weird release when you consider the scenarios were partially done back in September, so it's not like the scenarios were rushed or made last minute. Though the small announcement two weeks before release, with barely any promotional material between the first announcement and r...

New scenario for testing: Soberanía, 1978

Hello everyone, I've got a new scenario for testing. The scenario is based on Soberanía, the Argentine plan for the invasion of Chile during the Beagle channel crisis. 1978 was the closest the Beagle conflict between Chile and Argentina came to war. For years, both nations disputed the status of the...

New scenario for testing: Lightning, 1960

Hey everyone, I've got another small scenario for you all. It's based on the possible Venezuelan retaliation for the attempted assassination of President Betancourt in 1960 described in this article: https://favclubven.wordpress.com/2024/06/01/la-operacion-relampago/ The scenario has two variants, o...

Re: New scenario for testing: Saphire, 1977

Sorry to come late to the party. I just tried this out. Lots of fun, but I wonder if there is an error on the scoring. I was getting -8 points (instead of 8) for sinking a Somali ship and -4 points (instead of 4) for sinking a Somali PT. Was this intentional? Definitely not intentional

Re: New scenario for testing: Caravan, 1982

Thanks for your reply! Yes I did use that book haha :D I've mostly based it around the attack on page 33(I think) though the osa isn't mentioned specifically, just an unidentified Iraqi ship. Well, historically the Iraqi's would usually hit 1 maybe 2 ships during most attacks, so they would've proba...

New scenario for testing: Caravan, 1982

Hey everyone, I've got a new small, short but still challenging for you all to test: Caravan, 1982 Since the start of the Iraqi invasion, the northern Persian Gulf has been the site of an intense naval war between the Iranian and Iraqi navies. Most of the fighting has been centered around Iraqi atte...

Re: Warships parked inland

Is this neutral unit a pier? If so that's why the ships can move on land. In CMO all piers have a 'unrestricted by terrain' zone around them that allows ships to move trough them even if its on land. You can see the outline of the zone if you click on the pier.

Re: New scenario for testing: Saphire, 1977

Great to hear you enjoyed the scenario! Yeah, the distances between units are very small, so it's very easy for the enemy to catch them in the wrong place with no time to react. That's a very interesting route, haha. I'm always worried that my no fly zones are two small and people will just fly arou...

Re: New scenario for testing: Saphire, 1977

Thanks for your replies! I've uploaded a new version with the extra eyeball sensors removed. The scenario should run a lot more smoothly now, though it will probably slow down a bit when the ground units start shooting at each other.

New scenario for testing: Saphire, 1977

Sapphire, 1977 On June 27 1977, the former French colony of Afars and Issas gained its independence as the country of Djibouti. At first, the FLCS (Front for the Liberation of the Somali Coast), a guerrilla organization fighting against French colonial rule, celebrated this victory and was partiall...
