Just accepted. I can easily get one a day in, usually more in the beginning and on weekends, and prob over the holidays, though i have guests and might have to go a day or two with no turns once in a while.

Note my Japan comment - i don't like the Allies DOW-ing on Japan, but all bets are off if the Axis slow plays and tries to keep the US out until really late in the game! But i doubt that's ...

Hi, Happy to start that game - and agree on the exp farming. As Axis i will also not do the Tulum trick - or any other obvious exploits...i can usually get one in a day unless i get busy, and then i'll warn you.

Exp farming is when you bombard (with ships) unoccupied towns or strafe (with air units) towns with the sole purpose of improving the experience of your attacking units. small towns do not have any defensive value so it is a riskless attack to get experience only. Both sides can do it but it gets ...

Usual House rules, plus following:
- no exp farming (both sides can do it so lets just agree not to - games goes faster that way and less tedious)
- no attack on Japanese spawning spots - rather we agree no Brit DOW on Japan until AFTER Dec 7 1941, including no backdoor ways to get to war with brits ...

Hi Bill, its worked both ways for me - the first time i attacked the Solomons just to grab them, and didn't realize that automatically put the Brits at war with the Japanese. The activation hit for the US in doing that minor DOW was very small (nothing like if the Brits had done a DOW on Japan), but ...

yes, i have the same problem, got a message saying i needed to update the game file, so rebooted Steam, and am now getting a "Connection Error [-1], Unknown Error"

I agree, it's tedious - i think a house rule where both sides agree not to exp farm egregiously (like strafing the same city or bombarding the same city over and over again) would be good. I don't have the patience to constantly do that, but feel compelled to if my opponent is...
