OK, I will try the beta.

The reason I stayed away from the beta was I figured that it would mess up many more scenarios of older vintage. But if the beta is the most stable, then I guess I should switch to that.

This seems like a pretty good scenario in Red Tide.

I have done all the CMO tutorials and watched a bunch of the Catcombe tutorials too.

They won't refuel. They fly around in circles. Broad daylight.

After an initial drubbing on my first effort I was able on the second try to score about 800. I was pretty happy about that. But, you need 1000 to move on in the campaign, I guess.

In looking at the final stats, it would seem that my efforts lacked defensive quality. I sank a lot of ships ...

Aircraft will not go where I want them to go. I change the base. Order RTB. They fly in circles.

I set an F3 course. They fly in circles.

I set a landing point with 0 altitude and zero speed. They fly in circles.

This Mission has me stumped. I do everything they say and I don't attack anyone. But they attack me and when they do I lose pretty much instantly. Well, if I have to wait until they are right on top of me how can I actually do anything? The mission I loaded is what happens just before I get wiped ...
