Not sure just going back to the save will do it, that should be a game engine thing.
I would think that stuff like zone inventory is handled when calculating the turn, as in it wouldn't get adjusted to new version's behaviour just by loading a save, but would require ending the turn and ...

I checked a save from late 2021 (Oceania came out March 2023, for reference) and the same behaviour was present there, so it's not a recent change. Just easy to miss with how many systems the game has!

The game also recently introduced a scale where high Egoism will also reduce the effect, so 100 Egoism might be the same as 0 Egoism these days? The changelog makes it sound like not quite, though. Changelist 1.26k(#217):

You need to develop an RPG model before it opens. I'm not sure if the game or the manual has any information on the model requirements of linear techs. I remember getting stumped by it at some point when I couldn't optimize armor piercing for my masses of tank brigades because I hadn't made infantry ...

I'd love more planet generation options. I can't answer for Vic, but I'd assume it comes down to UI design (the effort to create acceptable interface for increased options) and the fact that giving players more ways to screw themselves over often makes them blame the game for it and like the game ...

Thanks for fixing it!

We tried some tests in PBEM yesterday/today and it indeed seemed to be happening in all mods that modified existing tables. I guess it was just lucky that most mods didn't add that many and/or didn't have noticeable conflicts.

People have been reporting major slowdowns when using this mod in PBEM multiplayer. So far no ideas why it happens (and why only in MP); any ideas are appreciated, as are reports of performance. For now I wouldn't recommend using it in MP.

Edit: Fixed in the latest beta (1.25i and later).

The symbols in "Steam\steamapps\common\Shadow Empire\GraphicsAlt\shadow\regime_symbols" don't match the size of the symbols in the selection area. So I assume the file must be somewhere else but I haven't found it.

Also, which file is responsible for the Regime Symbol selection (Change Symbol selection area)? I can't seem to find it. I've successfully replaced all in game symbols but the Change Symbol box is still the original symbols.


\graphics\shadow\regime_symbols is the folder you're missing probably ...

With the current regime customization UI, there can be a maximum of 36 selectable symbols (with the selectable row not really visible). A scrollable list, or some other solution with a higher limit, would be neat.

VTOLs are better for transporting large models as the maximal weight allowed by the heaviest models is higher than the biggest thopter, so you can fit more transport capacity.
For some reason I had the image that VTOL engines weren't available for Heavy and X-Heavy planes, but it was only for X ...
