When I come across stuff scouting I want to return to I'd like to pin a note or flag on that planet as a reminder.

Example: in my current campaign I've just discovered a planet with a research ...

I was thinking more along the lines of a flag/note on the galaxy map at the planet as a reminder.

Edit: Btw, loaded latest save on my end and when I loaded it up after the patch the diplo hit was still there. I assume then the change only kicks in with a new game perhaps?

Playing as the humans I recently encountered another human group and have to say I find it a bit odd we've got a negative 35 diplomacy hit right from the jump in our relations. I mean after all we just met.

Just discovered I've got the Mortalen on my SE border. Naturally they're angry, I assume that's how they go thru life.

Question: is war the only thing they do or can they be bribed enough to calm down?

I just built some fuel tankers because the advisor suggested doing so.

So what is the optimal way people are finding to use them?

Stick them in the fleet?

Have them meet up somewhere?

Not use them at all?

What is the most effective way to improve colony approval?

I see it slowly dropping and before it becomes a real issue I thought I'd ask.

Is there more than just supplying luxuries that affects this?

P.S. don't have any war weariness yet.

This is really of minor consequence, but I did find it a bit odd the steam overlay when you switch to it is a ghostly white like the contract is cranked up too high:

A sort of related question I have is: Can you hit ctrl and then left mouse drag around ships to give them commands?

I tried both settings for what I thought in settings controlled this but neither resulted in me being able to highlight ships to give commands to.

Sort of grown accustomed to doing ...

Thanks for quick response, so no ship at the start is completed I take it. Have to wait for them to complete building.

edit: user error false alarm, just had to let time run for a sec and the scout ship completed and looks fine.

Just fired it up and zoomed into starting ships and the textures don't look like they loaded properly for them.

is there a way to trigger this to reset so the ships load properly?
