1.0.2.1 Still Crashes when zoomed into battle.

It does not matter if in a new game or before the patch with old savegame. save_dxdiag_log.zip

With Vulkan DXVK it is playable in battles.
Still to dark but with the reshade tool able to fix this.
When zoomed in and out still the issue that FPS drop ...

In my extensive testing for the Crash in Battles i came across a Matrix Game Folder in C:\Windows.
C:\Windows\Matrix Games\Distant Worlds 2\

Maybe you need to move this files too to appear registered?

Crash when enter Battle with all Versions so far.
I have made an inplace upgrade on my PC to check if my Windows installation is at fault or the net framework part in windows.
Same issue after that.

I need to add another issue in this Workaround.
When you have visited a battle and zoom out again in Galaxyview there is a huge fps drop.

Until you zoom in again.
When you first start the game with this Workaround the Galaxymap is fast too.

Greetings Guys here is a Workaround against the Crashes in battle until the patch comes out:

Use DXVK dll's so that directx 11 is converted to Vulkan.

Use Version 1.9.4,
Edit: 1.10 works too now for whatever reason.

How to Install:
Optional but recommended, copy the entire game folder
Download ...

Another drop of ca 10 FPS with the ui off. With the Game not in focus the FPS goes up to 60 FPS interestingly. Edit: this was not true a bug in one of my FPS display programs it seems, with MSI Afterburner OSD FPS do not change

Interestingly with a much slower System not that much slower.
but it should be be faster at least with your System.

Unfortenatly the same Issue with adjustest driver settings.
Crash when some energie weapon hit the ship or some energy point defense hit the missile.

This time, no files generated in the Log folder.

I experience the same crash in battle.
As long as one of my Ships ( Human with Shields and Armor if thats matters ) get hit from enemy and i am Zoomed in, it crashes.

Attached are the Dxdiag file and the the generated Logs from the last Crash.

I have removed my Amd Driver 22.1.x with DDU and ...
