I have set area weapon priority to "Do not use" in the policy settings but the game insists on putting area weapons on defensive bases anyway. Is there any way to prevent area weapons being used on stations with automatic ship design on?

Is there a way to use game editor to create those events/places to unlock super techs? In more advanced galaxy (player starting with pre-warp) those seem to be never found and the AI doesn't seem to be in any hurry to develop those if it has unlocked them.

Overall this beta patch shows way less crashes than the previous one.

Game crashes repeatedly to the desktop. No crash logs are created in the logs folder but Windows event viewer shows the crashes.
