Re: Vid of CMO Tu-22/AS-4 attack on a Tico

A Styx barely sunk the eilat which was old. A as 4 sinking a cruiser has a lot less explosive and is dubious.

Lets highlight a few words here to help you out. "barely sunk"...sunk is the important word here. "A as 4 cruiser" is a weird phrasing. Not sure what you mean. But this is better. It ...

"I stand corrected on the weight"

This is the best news I've heard today. You actually read and comprehended something. Starting out with small things like this is the best way get on the path to getting better.

Now, to keep the momentum, I'd suggest going back to all the other threads you ...

Re: Vid of CMO Tu-22/AS-4 attack on a Tico

I really don't see how this would work. Considering the Cole survived a 40 ton explosive charge I don't see how a few hundred pound missile warhead would sink... anything.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Cole_bombing

"Around 400 to 700 pounds (180 to 320 kg) of explosive were used."

Not ...

Re: What year is the game set in?

You have to actually google and read whats already been posted. But I think you are making progress. I'll just make sure you see the other post.

Thats good progress. Admitting you looked at it, but just didn't understand it is a great first step. I think we can work with that. Now the next step ...

I know doing this is just a cry for help. I'll repost from the other thread in case you missed it.

You really need to actually read the stuff we put up. The first step is to admit you have a problem. No one can help until you do that. Living with a secret like that is just not right. It'll be a ...

But is a lot newer design than the 54A.

Reading is fundamental. I think you really could take advantage of this program.

Do you even google anything?

Not sure where you're getting this information but I can confidently say that it is patently not true. There was a lot of CAS in Afghanistan, and Iraq and several other conflicts.

What are the facts and figures behind your statement about Korea, that is new to me and I have looked at the ...

Re: What year is the game set in?

Again...the reading thing.

The FFG-62 has a planned displacement of 7400 tons. Thats over twice as big as the FFG OHP and almost twice as much as the newer PLAN frigate 054. It has a more flexible and heavier armament

Might want to read a few things now and then.

That doesn't really make it ...

Re: Loading infantry units on trucks and Inf unit size ?

In real life rifle fire would kill helicopters quickly. At Karbala they lost 30 apaches to a few guys.

But in the game it's fine to use helis to transport infantry. Fuel and spares are infinite so there's no issue doing this.

By the way, currently working on a gulf war scenario in fleet command ...

Just to clarify what goes into pH calculations for AAM's for anyone who happens to stumble across this thread genuinely curious about the concept:

Virginia class is delayed and ships laid down a decade ago were never launched.

0 ford class are made and they never got the catapult to work.

Constellation class is essentially a missile patrol boat with a 3inch gun.

What Pk is trying to simulate is airframe age. Missiles work all the time if they're new. In desert storm they refurbished the sidewinders and the aim 7p was in 1987. In Vietnam they built the sparrows in the 50s and they didn't work.

Pk is really a crude way of representing aging of equipment ...

Re: What year is the game set in?

Obviously you can select a year, in the editor. But what general time period is it? Will people in 2030 still make scenarios?

The eagle is retiring around 2025. Falcon, raptor, some Nimitz class are the same timeframe. F 35 was never fully operational.

Ships are supposed to last 50 years ...
