Corrections to Pole Positions Briefing

This is a MS Word document with suggestions for correcting typos in the Pole Positions US briefing. I cannot attach it to a post, or I am stupid (.txt is too limited). Nor do I see any 'contact us' emails. This link hopefully works, and is not a cryptominer...https://file.io/bBmayH9KDOcT.

It will ...

Re: OpWar: CVSG vs HQ-9 (Taiwan Invasion Scenario)

An excellent presentation, and good humour. Very much looking foward to more.

Perhaps a shorter-ranged WRA on the PLAAF’s missiles would have helped the PL-10s, though to negligible effect? I sometimes use the editor to put cruise missiles into blobs, rather than staggered columns, to give SAMs ...

Re: SAM/A2A CCS tech levels/reaction times

With a good case and evidence about the Combat System generation, the DB team (https://github.com/PygmalionOfCyprus/cmo-db-requests/issues) may adjust it to reflect your concerns. The same goes for any other DB entry's combat system. If memory serves, there was a cursory, possibly automatic ...

There is a brief flicker of the recent Top Gun-inspired Chinese film 'Born to Fly' that looks very familiar.

Re: Review and Editing of Unit Descriptions

Weapon #541 is described as C-802AK, when it should be C-802A.
Facility #3224 is the DF-100 battalion, but has the description of the AN/FPS-20.
If this helps, Facility #904 (Iranian C-802 battalion) could copy the existing description of Facility #329 (Chinese C-802 battalion). #329 just ...

Re: Can I alter the default mission settings in scenarios and other setup questions?

For changes to missions, open the scenario from 'scenario editor', from the main menu. Make the alterations, then save the scenario: either as the same, or 'save as' with a new name, for safety, possibly creating a custom folder for your tailored versions. You can play from within the editor, or ...

Re: Sensor arc colours in the database viewer

Might I suggest the colour representing 'no coverage' (currently white) becomes the same as the DB background? It would give a seamless appearance, showing only the arc of the sensor, hopefully creating a minimum of ambiguity.

Thank you for your edits! :D I will incorporate them in the description files.
My pleasure!

Small changes below, few errors, mostly formatting. A standardization question: is it best to have one- or two-line gaps between the end of the 'NOTES' section, and 'SOURCES'? I kept the one-line gap ...

DRAFT MiG-29 Fulcrum A description for comment
As with the MiG-29S above. There are other changes, but these are spelling or spacing or the like, so need little description. The edited text is below.

OVERVIEW: The MiG-29 aka "Fulcrum A" is a single-seat, twin-engine, short-range, all-weather ...

DRAFT MiG-29S Fulcrum C description for community review/comment
Just some small edits. All of them reversible, to taste.

'...the Fulcum's noise can easily...' should be 'Fulcrum's' and 'nose'.

'...aka "Fulcrum C” is...' quotation marks set to '"Fulcrum C"'.

'...variety of ordinance ...

Re: [WAD] Jettisoning Fuel Tanks Causes Plane to Show as having Full Tank if CFT were present

I actually think it would be more misleading to count two tanks that no longer exist towards total fuel capacity. If the tanks are jettisoned, they are removed from total capacity.

One could do it such that the green bar represents only the internal fuel such that when it starts to go down ...
