Warning, coastal defences still suck really bad, just alot less than before (thats saying alot) the 14" battery in post 1935 even if it looks very strong, will fail to reliably kill a cruiser 15-20k yards away

overhauls alot of the coastal defences including missile batteries, MTB squadrons, and ...

AI unable to strike with fighter aircraft in campaign

Testing with carriers in scenarios had led me to discovering what i suspected

AI is unable to use fighter aircraft to strike with on carriers, they cannot use torpedoes, they cannot use bombs, and they cannot use rockets, despite that technology being unlocked

battle was in 1.01.32
but behavior is the same in 1.01.34

additionally the AI cannot use fighters to attack other carriers by testing in scenarios and in fleet excercises.

the AI wont use fighters to drop bombs, torpedoes (i modded them to be able to carry them) or rockets when unlocked

AI loads up carriers with an insane amount of fighters, but never uses them as strike aircraft with rockets or bombs, just as escorts and cap

over 500 fighters, only 82 dive bombers and slightly over 100 torpedo bombers in this battle
so around 75% of AI aircraft on carriers were fighters

Increased lethality mod

this mod allows you to play with realistic, or if wanted, semi realistic rates of fire for ships of the 1900-1970s

This mod fits 1910s and 1940s scenarios such as guadacanal scenario or a jutland esque scenario, as it makes the engagements much faster, as they were in real life.

while these guns werent very effective as AA, the french triple 152mm and japanese triple 155mm were as far as im aware capable of limited anti aircraft work.

Im not quite sure whats going on, but you can put a single 17" gun on a ship, and then put 16" secondaries on

effectively making a 26000 ton, 16" armed cruiser.

ive tried it in scenario editor and campaign and cant get it to work

Could be incorporated into the doctrine screen where ammo selection currently is.
Currently it seems GP (i think this is HE bombs ? or general purpose ?) are used when attacking land targets
would be interesting if there was a choice between using low damage high penetration AP bombs or high damage ...

would love to build graf spee in the campaign version of the game, but fitting her on 12000 tons is proving difficult.
historical design (that looks very nice) in the river plate scenario is 16000 tons
