Re: CMO RUNNING POLL - Gameplay feature requests

I would like a feature that allows drawing lines with the Range & Bearing tool that can also be deleted if obsolete. There should be an option to enter a speed. This would make it possible to estimate the course and speed of units and groups. For example, if you enter 12 knots, a one-hour mark ...

Re: CMO RUNNING POLL - Gameplay feature requests

When assigning units (like ships) to a task pool, it would be nice if hosted units (like helicopters) were automatically assigned to that task pool as well, at least optionally.

Re: B1825.11 A10 Strafing gun, descending too low

I opened a very similar issue a while ago ( here ) and a proposal derived therefrom ( here ).

A simpler solution would be, for example, to offer an additional WRA option for the desired drop height and velocity, instead of dedicated attack profiles. This would not only benefit ground attacks, but ...

[FIXED] Course lines between waypoints are projected onto the seabed for marine groups

The course lines between waypoints are projected onto the sea floor for naval groups when 3D terrain rendering is enabled. This only occurs for naval groups, i.e. groups of ships and submarines. Individual units are not affected.

You also could degrade magazine depth to a certain degree or remove some weapons completely.

Re: [1776] Hitting GBUs with Iglas

For reasons of complexity, I assume that the visual recording CMO is interpreted as extremely optimistic in some cases and very pessimistic in others.
In the case of the GBU, it is overly optimistic. Looking up at a clear sky, the atmospheric background radiation is between -20° and -40° C ...

Re: Benefits of Task Pools & Packages over standard Msns?

I use them in larger scenarios with a couple similar groups wit similar mission sets, e.g. there is one in Northern Inferno with one Carrier Group and two Amphibious Groups. To me it seems easier to sort the aircraft for each groups ASW patrol out. If the pool ist defined only the aircraft of the ...

The "Assign" button is still not high enough to display the lower part of the letter "g". The new group button could be also resized.

Valid point. So there should be another fireball from 122 km downwards until it goes slower than below Mach 10 or so. But in between it should turn dark during its travel between boost phase and re-entry.

Ballistic missile simulation

I would like to make following suggestions:

- the fireball of missiles should be turned off as soon the boost phase is over
- warheads and decoys that reach space should separate from missiles after end of boost phase (at least ICBM do so to my knowledge)
- missile tracking radars and satellites ...

Visualise the active/passive mode of sensors even if Inherit from Parent is selected.

Re: Creating minefield with editor raises error message

I tried various mines in various numbers in different shapes of minefields. It always places n/2 + 1 mines. More than unsuitable condition for placement this looks to me like a problem with the loop increment or the loop itself.

Re: Creating minefield with editor raises error message

- I just defined an area Ctrl + RMB define Area Rectangle
- Editor/Minefields/create minefield in designated area
- chose the default selected mine from dialogue
- How many: 20 and press ADD button

It places always n/2 +1 mines
