[Suggestion] Option to request automated fleet to bombard

I enjoy sitting back and watching my automated fleets gradually take over a weaker neighbor.

The one aspect that consistently request manually intervention and additional micro is the bombardment step.

As far as I can tell, there is no way to get automation controlled fleets to bombard without ...

Thanks for writing that up.

Yeah, it would definitely be nice.

If you start a game at max tech level you won't be able to build anything unless you go in and manually design ships.

I haven't really delved into the ship designer yet, so I prefer to have the AI manage that part of the game.

This is really a problem with the AI Ship designer. It does not consider lack of resource sources when designing ships. It just shoves on the best components. Which is funny because the game warns humans players with a "defect" when you lack the resource to construct the ship.

The "Annual Bonus Income" section of the economy tab shows that I'm currently getting 2,841 credits for trading resources (screenshot below). So you do get credits from resources, as long as you trade with some other empire or independent colony. But I don't know if you can ever get significant ...

Mining base questions

I have a few questions.

It looks like early game you want to be selective about which mining bases you grab so you get the key resources you need.

However, not sure about mid-game.

1. In the mid-game should I basically be putting mining bases everywhere?
2. Do extra resources translate into cash ...
