Wait, what? Saying yes to the Irish ports is a bad idea? Why?

you don't need them, they are only 5 strength max so you can't even fully repair a ship with it. But the main reason is that it pisses off the USA, so they have less income, which is very bad ...

Re: Yugoslovia coup

I think the game has changed and early invasions of Russia are not that good anymore. But if it was prevalent, then yes I guess it would be a good idea to have an early Axis DoW on Yugo be penalized a bit more. But I think different strategies should be viable. If you both want a game railroaded ...

Re: Yugoslovia coup

I would love it if players did that in my games. Losing Yugo is a trade I would make any day for getting 10-15% Russin mobilization bonus in fall of 40. I don’t really see the issue.
Attacking Yugo early objectively gives Axis less benefit than the Allies, and it’s only maybe viable if going for a ...

Re: Yugoslovia coup

It’s a nonevent in many ways, but most events in this game are nonevents in the sense that there very clearly is a optimal and much less optimal choice. For almost all events it’s very clear that you should either always choose tes, or always no. There are few events where the choice really depend ...

Re: France Meta

I don't think pouring in all allied units into France is META. I don't do it, and I think several other Axis players don't either. Axis attacking on t3 is just too effective against it, and seems not super effective either vs a more methodical slow Axis grind.

I personally prefer light in France ...

Just to clarify: they all fire only if the Axis declare war on the USSR, i.e. they have the initiative and are the aggressors.

another potential bug: none of my bombers (tactical bombers and strategic bombers) are registering raids on the enemy convoy line (neutral, but axis aligned Norway ...

Finland got moved by Allied diplomacy. It says they are 0%, but it still mentions axis as their allegiance. What would happen if the Axis declare war on Russia now? Would Finland stay neutral or still go to war?

Happy to play you, I am just finishing a game as Axis so if I go axis would be great. Let me know if you are still available. Happy with standard ELO rules, no Italian navy out of Med till DOW and no early DOW on Japan.

Re: Bug or WAD?

thanks, so understanding it correctly, it causes 35% and 30-40% morale damage?

So when the USSR enters the war not through Barbarossa (aka German DoW) but through Japanese DoW, these scripts also fire, right? Or, at least the first one would?

I guess it explains why I couldn't observe the effect ...

Bug or WAD?

In 2 of my last axis games, I bypassed the DoW with Germany on Russia by declaring on Lithuania and Persia respectively. As a result, something happened I didn't expect. When I later declared war with Japan on Russia, USSR received a morale penalty that was quite severe, like 50% almost. And this ...

I can only connect to matrix with VPN since a few weeks... idk why. Maybe it's related. I know someone else I was playing also seems to be having trouble, so it must be something on their side imo if so many people are struggling to get in.

reset game

Is it possible to reset the reply or last turn of a game that has ended? 2 games of mine ended recently and both times the game crashed during loading the replay of the final turn. And I was not able to see the game in it's surrender state to look at the tech, and other stats.

I would really want ...

my guess would be the West Coast of the US. (in many languages the order is noun + adjective instead of adjective + noun).
