Re: Depot sending out freight during enemy turn?

Depots far behind the frontline are constantly sending out freights during enemy turn, making it impossible to hoard freight for them.

Are you doing Air missions? Have AGs nearby on Airfields? I think this is related to Supply sent out to airfields during your air phase. When freight gets sent ...

Depot sending out freight during enemy turn?

Depots far behind the frontline are constantly sending out freights during enemy turn, making it impossible to hoard freight for them. I found it out through disabling the FOW. Is it intentional and if it is why it happens? Pic below comes from a test run of Stalingrad to Berlin campaign.

Re: Quick Questions Thread

Does anyone knows the exact meaning of Total Freight Losses right after Unit Trucks Used in the logistics phase report means? Is that means the freight losses during the train transportation due to interdiction or is it also included the freight losses depots to individual units?

"he scenario also includes several German buildable units " - how is it doable in editor beside setting it "yes" to build units as Germany? In what section can we set buildable units?

In the TOE section, click on the SHOW TOE(OB) CHAINS and select ONLY BUILDABLE to switch to all chains, then ...

Fort level near Stalingrad doesn't go up

I'm currently playing a slightly modified version of 42 Stalingrad campaign. I find that fort level of some hexes near stalingrad simply don't go above level 1 even with excess amount of supply(in save turn 44). I wonder whether it's due to modification or not. Here's the save, one is on 34 turn and ...

Re: Low TB defense value

Thanks for the save. I can't explain the Balkans, but it looks like you are short in naval requirement, so I think that is blocking the aircraft from leaving. I ran it a few turns and put more patrol a/c into the NF and once naval came up, I was able to transfer out aircraft units that would keep ...

Re: Manually adding a construction unit to a city / town

There's one thing worth mentioning that manually assigned construction su DOES NOT accelerate the repairs on factories/resources and airfield construction. It all relies on priority repairs that AI assigned. And from my observation, the number of construction SU that can be sent out has some hidden ...

Which is the better way setting up depots?

Hi!

I'm currently starting a Stalingrad campaign. I wonder which one of them is the better way of setting up depots?

What I used to do is the first one except for ports. I sort of realized that it probably won't maximize the utilization of railyard capacities I ...

Re: Why does it take 2 turns to transfer from SU garrison to map?!?!?

They are in the Soviet union, garrisoning cities, providing police/security presence, and fighting partisans.

My understanding(or in another word, rationalization) of why it takes two weeks to transfer it to maps is that field division and garrison unit are organized in two different ways. The ...

Re: GC 41 - sudden death or no sudden death?

If you playing this game for like first time, then I would recommend no early end campaign to familiarize yourself with game mechanics.

However, if you want some historical immersion or you think you are skilled enough, then I would recommend playing the original 41 campaign. Historical immersion ...

My current campaign is versus challenging AI. I dare not to try hard since I'm not so sure whether it will affect numbers of Soviet troops spawned. But I'm just raising this question out of curiosity. If it's achievable, I might try it at the ...

Re: Here we go again - GC 1941 Germany

T02 Sitrep
Soviets didn't do much about our advancing, which is not surprising since rapid advancement has pretty much destroyed the Soviet's chain of command.
From the north and central sides, Soviets didn't even try to break the pocket. This is a great news for us.

Trying moving freight out of NSS by air transport. This is HLYA's idea from this post( https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10176&t=389808 ). Just an experiment.
