Re: Next Generation Tracker: Staff Officer Companion

I am in a PBEM

Issue: persistent error in political points value.
Issue: having to wait for compilation every time i click a tab makes it a significant continuity problem and time waster, since it is too short to do anything else.
issue: when i use the finder and for example put i-18 and click it ...

Re: 1128b - bugs and issues

Sendai class CL 2/45 upgrade have 5 forward 25mm single AA guns twice, So 10. All single mounts. Seem excessive.

Re: New Public Beta - v1128 Live Now!

I ask because i got a kill in a Sentai in Japan(Hokkaido) and except Soviets(inactive) there is no allied aircraft in a long distance. Since recon flights are not intercepted by fighters due to game mechanics the biggest allied range are patrol mission PB4Y 1P with 31 range max. i have one in kill ...

Re: New Public Beta - v1128 Live Now!

I retire my complaint, apologies. You are correct it seems the P1Y3 had bigger wings and a lengthened fuselage albeit 4m being referenced appear excessive. Note that the Ohka 22 for the P1Y3 is a smaller variant then original Okha 11 and it seems it would be under the fuselage not in the wings.

Re: New Public Beta - v1128 Live Now!

The only change is that P1Y3 can launch the Okha That do not mean a retooling. instead for P1Y1 vs P1Y2 it is more extensive we have a new engine and added radar( this last one do not warrants a retooling)

Re: New Public Beta - v1128 Live Now!

What do you mean? all 3 are level bombers.

The upgrade should be possible when retooling factory is not necessary . Due to code limitation the game is even more stringent in this aspect than necessarily for variants. A D4Y and a D4Y-recon do not have a significant difference for example.

Re: Japanese CV Radar from Refits?

Yes a month is ok.

I would start with carrier with Air search radars then as production ramps up much more ships get them in an exponential scale.

Note also the difference between anti air radar and anti surface radar.

I would not put the Shokakus as the first carrier to get them but Akagi and ...

Re: New Public Beta - v1128 Live Now!

P1Y1 factories upgrades to P1Y2 despite different engines, P1Y2 do not upgrades to P1Y3 despite same engine.

Shouldn't submarines in transport mission stay only with torpedos in the launch tubes, the reload space being reserved for cargo?

Re: Ship repair points

I meant also the upgrades, example it says the carrier upgrades in 21 days. It is often more and i haven't find a way to manage it despite the repair shipyard having a lot of free space. Does HI matter for it? Naval and Merchant construction points?

Re: Japanese CV Radar from Refits?

Yeah, some questionable decisions. One of most important things of a game like this is to decide in what History let in and what should not affect the game.

Pax is correct saying that radar electronics where not readily available for all ships at same time, What would make sense is to have major ...

Re: Ship repair points

For me the initial prediction of repair and upgrades scheduled time are often wrong, ie take more time than what is stated end even predicted by the upgrade time, Can be worse by even a week. I think the manual is pretty useless about this-
