So finally i got it to work. It was after all related to the Ä-character as you said. Took me awhile to figure out how to properly change the name of the user.

Ok. Is there any kind of crash log i could give you or how could i describe my problem?

Ive had swedish, but i tried to change to english. Does not seem to make any difference.

My username in the user folder has changed to "Andre", which should be fine.

My problem remains - after ive clicked "play" on launcher screen the settings screen is opened up. I press "play game" and then nothing happens except the settings screen shuts down.

Right after ive pressed "play" in the Matrix launcher, nothing happens. The game does not start at all.

Tried to change windows username to "Andre" instead of "ÄGARE" and reinstalled the game once again. That did not fix the issue, the same problem remains..

I have a similar problem. Upon starting the game from desktop it brings up the game menu. When i press play nothing happens, the game does not start. Tried reinstall, updated drivers,updated AB2, restarted computer etc. Nothing works. My computer is well above requirements to run the game properly ...
