Re: AT and AP multiplier in tool tip

See 13.12.1 in the manual. Defensive Anti-Armor Strengths: x2 in Urban.
--- ok, clear.

See 13.12.4 in the manual. Defensive Strengths of Infantry: x3 in Urban.
AP is short form of Anti-Personnel, why you do not refer the multiplier to 13.12.2(defensive anti-personnel strengths), instead you refer ...

AT and AP multiplier in tool tip

what does the information "AT:200% AP:300%" in the tool tips mean?

does it mean: actual AP = 2*300% = 6 and actual AT = 1*200% = 2, when defending?

one question about flanking attack penalty

1.jpg

In this attack toward a stack of HQ divisions, I select two armys in red circle and leave aside two armys in yellow circle, because if I select all, the time stamp will get longer.
but when I check the result of the combat, I discover these two armys in yellow circle are also involved in ...

one question about cooperative HQ unit in supply increase formular

it is clear with respect to the supply increase formular.

Supply Increase = Hex Supply Value×FSDE×1.5(if High Supply is in effect)×1.5(if next to cooperative HQ unit)×1.5(if next to SUPPLY unit)×2/3(if moved)×2/3(if night)×2/3

one question about the term "×1.5(if next to cooperative HQ unit ...

Re: the calculation of net odds

got it more or less.

1. AR is messurement of level of benifits for enhancing attacker bomb and sucking defender supply cost, better to have AR >= 100 if you intend to have best artillery support and reduce enemy's supply most.
2. the best success predictor is the Net Odds, better to have net odds ...

Re: the calculation of net odds

Thanks, crystal clear, Lemay!!

in addition, in below example:

success probability.jpg

Look, AR=18 is very low(I understood AR>=100 will get good benefits), in the meantime net odds=0.5 is also low.
but the probability of success is still "fair"!

three question:
1. does this "the probability of ...

the calculation of net odds

1.jpg

I am trying to follow the formular of "net odds" to do some calculation.
I searched in the forum regarding HardFraction, and understood it is AT/Armor DF, but I am not sure.

Finally, my calculation result is 18.45:1, which is very different than the actual result 8.316:1.

I am totally ...

Re: color of supply points

thanks, now I understood the purpose behind it. if there are a lot of white-color supply hex within my territory, it means my line of defense has some breach in terms of ZOC, which will lead to the trace of supply lines for opponent side.
and another point is, the supply view map doesn't update ...

it is the scenario of Anonymous Heroics. why in some turns, the supply points are shown half-red and half-white circles, but in other turns, they change to all-white circles?
does the color of supply points says something?

I believe it's bug. I attach it to the post for designer of the game, which is a great game, to improve in next release.

what's the meaning of the gray blocks below "time expended"

can anyone help explain the meaning of the gray blocks below "time expended"?
I have feeling it has something to do with the timestamp that has already been expended by other combat plan, but...
but why in other combat plans in the same round, sometimes "time expended" show 2 gray ...

how to read combat full report vs. combat chart ?

can anyone help to explain how to read combat full report and corresponding combat chart?
I have several questions for the full report:

1. Red 5th Inf Div, 5th Inf Div supports the attack [FC, R10]: check the combat chart, it starts on R8 and finish on R9, why report says R10?
2. Red 6th Inf Div, 6 ...

the meaning of big hexgons with DBR visible

1.jpg

I am very new to play TOAW4, I checked manuel(7.14, p33) regarding DBR, there are explanations about white/red/black colors for range units.
but infantry isn't range units, why there are hexgons around it when I set "E" to the counter? but there isn't this hexgons when the counter is set ...
